Try a public stock question
Add the research address above. Ducky Stock can answer supported public queries without a Ducky Stock login, with a five-day disclosure delay. Your AI app may still require its connection or authorization steps. In Claude, Sign in when needed allows this public-first flow.
Use Ducky Stock to find recent reported insider transactions for NVDA. Include sources and dates. Explain missing data and access delays.Read my watchlist or saved research
Connect with OAuth and sign in to Ducky Stock. Check the account, return address and permissions. Choose read access. After returning to your AI app, ask it to check the connection. Do not paste passwords or tokens into chat.
Use Ducky Stock to check whether my account is connected and which permissions are available. Do not show my email, holdings or access tokens.Save changes or set up an alert
The research connection cannot save changes. Add the full address below as a separate connection. Request only the permission needed for your task. Check the exact change before confirming. Saved strategies do not automatically start monitoring.
https://api.duckybot.app/mcpFix or remove a connection
Find the failed step below. For login or expired-page errors, start again from the AI app. For a tool error, keep its name and error message. You can revoke a connection in Ducky Stock account settings.
Fix a connection ↓Why does my AI app show a security notice?
AI platforms may warn about custom connections they have not reviewed. This does not certify or disqualify a server. Check the address: https://api.duckybot.app/mcp. Read the requested permissions and the platform’s data-sharing notice. Never bypass a browser certificate warning. Ducky Stock does not have a confirmed public directory listing.
Privacy and account controlsA sign-in success message is only the first check. A returned Ducky Stock tool result confirms a query worked. If a query requires login, use the account workflow above.
Login and permissions
Sign in on Ducky Stock’s authorization page. Read access allows account queries. Changes need separate watchlist, holdings or alert permissions. Never paste passwords or access tokens into chat.
A 401 response means sign-in is required. A 403 insufficient_scope response means a required permission is missing. Reconnect through the app’s MCP settings if sign-in does not open. Check the saved result before repeating a change.

Using Ducky Stock in chat
Can I use my ChatGPT subscription?
ChatGPT supports custom MCP connections on the web. Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace permissions: OpenAI documents read/fetch access on some individual plans and full MCP access for eligible Business and Enterprise/Edu workspaces. Check your plan before adding Ducky Stock.
Official instructions ↗Can I connect my own chat website?
Yes, if the app has an MCP client or a model API with remote MCP support. Connect through the app’s server. Keep API keys and Ducky Stock access tokens out of frontend code. An OpenAI API integration has separate billing.
OpenAI also supports ChatGPT plan usage in participating apps. That requires a separate integration and user authorization. Ducky Stock does not currently offer it. Adding a Ducky Stock MCP address does not enable it.
Official instructions · ChatGPT
Official instructions ↗Will the Ducky Stock icon appear in ChatGPT?
Ducky Stock supplies a duck icon and website in its MCP metadata. Your AI app decides whether to display them. ChatGPT also has separate plugin and composer icons, supplied in the plugin package or custom MCP form. These do not replace the assistant avatar or Thinking animation. Ducky Stock currently returns data and text without a custom chat card.
Official instructions ↗What did we test?
On October 24, 2026, Codex completed Ducky Stock sign-in and an account read. Sol and Terra ran six final production cases with 13 tool calls and no tool errors. Terra still promised an unsupported filter before correcting its final answer. These results do not prove that every answer is correct or that ChatGPT web setup works.
An actual test result
“Has anyone bought NVDA shares as an insider in the past seven days? Include sources and dates.”
The visible insider records were empty. Three newer records were withheld by the access delay, and their transaction details were unavailable. The answer could not establish that no insider bought shares.
Summary of the October 24 test, not a current market result. No saved account data was changed.
What you can ask Ducky Stock
- Insiders & institutions
Find insider transactions, institutional 13F holdings changes and political trade disclosures for a stock. Open the original filings to check the details.
13F describes quarter-end holdings disclosed later. A reported purchase is not automatically a verified open-market purchase.
- Investing creators and their views
Find creators who discussed a stock. Compare what each person said and when their view changed. Each record links to its source.
Repeated comments from one creator are not independent evidence. A creator’s reported trade is not a verified account transaction.
- Check a rule against past data
Ask which conditions Ducky Stock supports. Validate a rule before previewing its historical results. Use the full connection to save a strategy.
A rule can support a current check, a historical study or monitoring. Check each use separately. Saving does not start monitoring.
- Your watchlist and saved research
Read watchlist updates, compare them with holdings you entered, and open saved strategies. Sign in with the Ducky Stock account you use on the website.
Account data requires sign-in. The full connection can request supported alerts with your confirmation. Alerts use your configured notification channels.
Having trouble connecting?
Find the problem below. After fixing it, ask the AI to check your Ducky Stock account and read a stock disclosure.
Retry the connection you just started
Return to the Ducky authorization tab and choose Retry this connection when available. This reopens the same request so you can review permissions and connect; it does not approve access automatically. If that tab is closed, the retry fails, or the AI app says the request expired, open the app’s Connected apps, Connectors or MCP settings, select Ducky Stock and reconnect. In Gemini, use Settings & help → Connected apps; in Claude, use Settings → Connectors; in ChatGPT, open Ducky Stock under Apps. Keep the new authorization tab open until it returns to the app. Check your connection by asking the AI which Ducky tool it actually called.
Connection details incomplete, invalid, or too long
These details are sent by the AI app, not entered by you: its identity, return address and security check. Do not paste /oauth/authorize into the server field or edit the authorization link. Start from the AI app with https://api.duckybot.app/mcp (full tools), or keep /mcp?profile=research if you chose research mode. The error state too long means the app sent more connection context than Ducky accepts; it is a compatibility issue, not a password error. Retry once after a fix. If it persists, share the app name and error text with Ducky support, not the full URL, password or verification code. No access was granted by the failed request.
Installed or @mentioned, but the AI uses other tools
Installed does not mean connected. In ChatGPT, open Ducky Stock and finish Continue connecting app. Complete Ducky Stock sign-in and return to ChatGPT. Refresh the connection if tools changed, then start a new chat and select Ducky Stock. Ask it to check the connection and report which Ducky Stock tool ran. Searching for the plugin, searching the web or calling another app is not a Ducky Stock query. If no Ducky Stock tools appear, stop and report the connection state instead of treating other results as Ducky Stock data.
Wrong URL or server not found
Use the complete connection address at the top of this page. Do not enter this guide’s address or /oauth/authorize. Choose HTTP or Streamable HTTP. Research mode lists four tools. Opening the address in a browser does not test the connection.
Sign-in required, expired session or wrong account · 401
Sign in again through the app’s MCP settings. Check the account on Ducky Stock’s authorization page before connecting. For a wrong account, cancel, sign out of Ducky Stock, sign in to the correct account and reconnect. In Codex, run codex mcp login ducky --scopes read. Never send a token to the AI.
Return address mismatch or expired authorization page
For an expired consent page, choose Retry this connection to reopen it, then review the account and permissions. If the AI app’s request itself has expired, start a fresh connection there. A return-address mismatch or origin error needs a fresh request from the AI app; keep its new authorization URL unchanged. If that also fails, share only the error code and app name with Ducky Stock support.
Missing permission or write tool · 403
Research mode reads data and previews studies. It cannot add stocks or turn on alerts. For changes, connect the full /mcp address and grant the required permission. Existing access does not upgrade automatically. You do not need write access to read research.
Cancelled authorization or want to disconnect
Cancelling grants no access for that request. To end existing access, open Connected AI apps in Ducky Stock account settings. Revoke the app’s access. Then remove the connection in the AI app. A new connection requires authorization again.
Connected, but no data or a tool failed
Check the stock symbol, dates, delay and coverage. An empty result does not prove that no trades occurred. For invalid parameters, ask the AI to check the tool’s accepted inputs. For 429, wait for the returned retry interval. Retry a service error once. If it persists, keep the tool name and error text for support. Check saved changes before repeating a write.
Technical details
You do not need these details to ask a question. Expand them when configuring an app or checking a tool response.
Show tools, schemas and API details
Four tools for research
The AI starts with four tools. It requests details for one of 28 operations when needed. Saving changes requires the full connection.
ducky_discover- Find a capability and its exact parameters.
ducky_read- Read disclosures, creator views and your research.
ducky_preview- Validate conditions or run an unsaved study.
ducky_changes- Follow updates, stance changes and holdings comparisons.
Need to save a watchlist or confirm an alert? Use the full 38-tool connection with its separate write permissions: https://api.duckybot.app/mcp
- Source
- Keep the original filing or creator link. Separate source facts from the AI’s interpretation.
- Time
- Keep event date, disclosure date and the response’s as_of / data_through fields distinct. Retrieval time is not event time.
- Coverage
- Check access, coverage and truncation fields. Missing, delayed and empty results mean different things. Unknown values must not become zero.
- Simulation
- Include the method, sample size, holding period and losses. Historical results do not establish future win probabilities.
Full connection: 38 tools
The full /mcp connection includes 38 tools. Changes require separate permission. Check tools/list for the current list.

A portable strategy definition
This example validates a completed-daily RSI below 30 over the current covered pool, with no market-cap filter. It defines a hypothetical portfolio; it does not enable a monitor. It is an example, not a recommended strategy.

This completed-daily example is accepted for current inspection and historical replay, but its monitor capability is false; check the validation response rather than changing modes silently. Handle a 409 by reading the latest revision and asking which edit to keep. Honor Retry-After on a busy response. A timeout is not proof of a failed save: read the saved strategy before retrying. Never treat missing data as zero or repeatedly run simulations to poll for a result.
Current limits
Ducky Stock reads filings and creator views, previews studies, and manages your saved research. It does not connect a brokerage or place trades. Public data is delayed. Results depend on the filings Ducky Stock has collected.
This signal search cannot filter by sector, fund size or verified open-market purchases. Check the supported rules before requesting monitoring or simulation.
